Her own house... she was feeling protective already. It seemed like the "shiny badge that meant nothing" as she told Z actually was doing wonders for her house spirit.

"Do you need help?" she asked, not having seen the girl put her own trunk up and definitely not thinking about the fact that she herself would be no help at all. "In anything, by the way." Prefect Goldilocks is making her debut.

Halcyon gave a little half-curtsy in response to being thanked. "It's no trouble."

"Not at the moment, but I suppose if I need something you'll be the first I come to." Hallie smiled sweeter than is natural to her. She'd hadn't fully formed her plan for buttering up to the Prefects but she supposed just being nice and lovely was a start. "I had been wondering who our Prefect would be. I'm so glad to bump into you." She offered her hand.

"I think I've seen you around but I don't recall your name. I'm Halcyon, but Hallie, really." She curtsied again, this time in full. "Enchanted to meet you."
