Thornton looked around anxiously, eager to head to the castle and finally be sorted. He was also terribly hungry for some actual food, having only consumed candy - and some questionable candy at that - since leaving.
Not looking where he was going, he bumped into a student in front of him, jarring him out of his own head.
"Oh no! I'm so terribly sorry to have run into you like that. My sincere apologies!"
