The train ride, Charlie decided, had to be the worst part of the whole school year. Not only had she had to put her trunk in Els and her space (which obviously wasn't working out very well as Elodie was nowhere near ever going there ever again), she'd also had to say a very long and sucky goodbye to Tristan, and Elodie and Cat.

Oh, and her sister. But that was different: Valeria's job meant that she wouldn't be around for half a year anyway. Shrugging - or trying to - the bad thoughts away, Charlie adjusted her hair a little, pulling her bobble tighter, before making her way down the corridor.

She had a friend to see, and an AWOL summer to make up for.
