A hippogriff! This was guaranteed to be a good lesson now because Penelope knew loads about hippogriffs thanks to Atticus. She didn't have much to add to answer this question though since it seemed pretty straightforward. The Disillusionment Charm was used to comply with the Statute of Secrecy and all that stuff.
