This kid was so cool. How'd he do it? The casualness of the grin. The super friendly demeanor. How? He was like the epitome of cool. Zander could be cool too. Totally. Yeah. Cool. He could do it too. Just. With time. Maybe not now because he was lost. But definitely could. The Gryffindor just nodded in response to the super friendly kid because really he didn't have the same idea. BUT, he needed the cool!friendly guy to think he did. That way he wouldn't look like a dweeb standing next to this guy's cool.

Zander couldn't even help but beam at the older kid's beam because wow! It was super friendly AND contagious. Pull up a dummy? Uh. Okay. The only time he had really done this was for DADA homework... And that had been a struggle at first. Still, the third year grabbed one and pulled it close to the other dummy already in position. "Thanks," For letting him stay and poke at dummies with you...

"Toby... Sounds familiar..." Zander wasn't beaming anymore. Or panicking about how lost he was. Instead, he was now staring at this dude, deep in thought. Kinda leaving the kid's hand hanging. Because he didn't go to reach for the handshake quite yet. Where'd he know him from? Of course in lessons... But no, he knew something more about this kid... But what was it? Of course Sophie would probably say that he was wearing his title of Leader of the Dorks pretty well standing next to this cool guys-- WAIT. Sophie. Was this Sophie's Toberson boy? As if he was enlightened by the great spirits of above, Zander's eyes lit up and he was grinning again. "Wait a minute. Are you Toby as in the Tobes?" That was his name right? Or was it Tobson. Eh, the Gryffindor was never sure. "Sophie's?" Oh right, handshake. Right. Before things got drawn out longer, Zander extended his hand to finally meet this Tobers' persons hand. Right. Not going to leave him hangin forever. That would be mean. Oops.
