Phew!

Simon chuckled and then shrugged his shoulders. "Yeah, you know first year in this weather. It's summer where I'm from," he exclaimed with a wide grin. He beamed. "Thanks a little bit of transfiguration helped me get these. Do you need more traction on your shoes? It's very slippery around here." Not that he had fallen or anything. Nu-uh. Simon hadn't fallen. If anyone had seen that fall then they were obviously imagining it. The boy was way too cool to land on his butt. Mhmmm.. "How does it feel to be fifteen?" he said, trying to avoid the awkwardness that he may or may have not caused.

He glanced around the Ravenclaw table and then smirked. Hehe. Perfect. "So are you ready to start this or what? Or should we build a wall of defense before we start aiming at people?"
Of course Simon hadn't fallen. Of course not. He had your BACK, dude.

Woah, wait. JUST HOLD ON A MINUTE THERE. "You mean to say that you transferred too? This is your first year at Hogwarts as well?" Because if so, they had even MORE in common now. And where was he from? Because Grayson wanted to go there and stay there FOREVER. If it was summer forever, that meant plenty of beach visits. SMIRK. "Jeez, man, you're SMART! And yeah, that'd be great, thanks," he said, wiggling his feet a little. Good to keep the circulation in this little bad boys going. How does it feel to be fifteen? "EPIC!" Lies, Whitlock. "It doesn't feel that different but it sounds like a much cooler age. Almost as cool as sixteen." Sixteen and eighteen were definitely the coolest.

Simon really was smart, wasn't he? Why? Plans. The boy was thinking of plans ALREADY. He liked that, about as much as the fact that this one over here was a fellow smirker. "If we build up a wall of defence, we risk looking like cowards. If not, we'll have to use the table and that's not efficient." Pros and cons and all. "Let's build one! That's what they do in proper battles."
