Ozzie might have been dozing off a little, but he was very much awake as soon as he heard a voice. He jolted upright, then leaned back against the couch because it was just Anika. No, he wasn't going to think about that.

He was hungry in fact, but why was she asking? Was she just going to taunt him with promise of food when there was none? No, she wouldn't do that. So he nodded a bit awkwardly. "Actually, yes." He stood up with a few cracks of joints, which made his cheeks color as he stretched.

Darn his sister and double darn her husband.
