Suddenly the food on her plate WAS really interesting. Mainly to look at though. She wasn't really all that hungry anymore. Of course she'd known that Schuyler would be going to college in fall but...up until now she hadn't really thought of it like that. Until she chose one it wasn't real. Now it was though.

Ignoring the constricting feeling in her chest, Olly nodded. Yes, she was fine.

"Right." She forced herself to look up again. "Did you pick one then?" College, that is. "Where are you going?" Her voice sounded normal, yeah? She was even cutting the pancake and putting some of it into her mouth. Perfectly fine.
