Benny was thinking he had gotten the handle on the incantation, now onto the wand movement. Three anti-clockwise, or rather counter-clockwise circles. Ugg how he hated those kind of movements...they always messed him up or risked messing him up in potions. And this was Herbology, the stuff he actually liked to deal with. Hopefully he wouldn't wind up harming the poor tree with a mistake on his part.
He tried it out with his quill at first. One...two...three counter-clockwise.
Another for good measure. One...two...three counter-clockwise.
Then his wand. One...two...three counter-clockwise.
