Lux couldn't help but get the feeling that Zander wasn't paying attention to what she was saying about the ghosts and Centaurs. Maybe she was blabbering on about them, or maybe he was still distracted by his problems. Whatever it was, she didn't take it personally. The Centaur thing was interesting to her, but might not be to everyone else. Besides, there was macaroni and cheese to be eaten. Eyes widening, she eyed the tubs that he had practically shoved into her face. Oooh, his Ancient Runes homework. That made a lot of sense to her. Snort. It was a good thing that he hadn't gotten any of his hair into the food because that would have been really gross.

Taking the first tub he held out to her, she started to dig in. "Mmmm, this really IS good. I so could eat all of it." And then the other tub too before guessing which one was made with the Rune. There was food here, she needed to eat all of it.

Zander had managed to get his first jumper back on with little difficulty. So now it was time for the second jumper he had thrown off... Actually... Come to think of it.... He had discarded a bunch of his clothes. He tried forcing a smile as he layered them back on. He was starting to feel sick. This was getting worse and worse every minute. And at this point Lux was starting to look at him like he was going insane. Which he probably was. If this is what love did to a person then Zander wanted no part in it. Nope. No serving of love here thanks, but we'll take the potatoes.

Is she older than you!?! At this Zander's eyes shot wide open. MAYBE SHE REALLY DID SEE THE DOODLE! This is getting really serious. ABORT MISSION. ABORT FOR REAL. ABORT. CODE RED. CODE RED. Bay?! She didn't know what the stabbies were? Well, that's a relief. For her anyways. Because they are A-W-F-U-L. "You don't want to know." He nodded carefully. The stabbies were worse than the flutteries. WAY worse. He'd know. He got them every time he talked to ~~his herbology angel~~ Professor Bentley. Every. Single. Time. Then Lux continued talking. She really did talk a whole lot in such a dire situation. Wait? She was actually making a lot of sense. Avoid her? As much as it would pain him to do so... He'd have to. It'd be for the best. The greater good, if you will. Greater good being his professional future. And hers too. Yeah. For the best. Then her next suggestion, thinking of something he doesn't like? "Would Brussels Sprouts work?" Or Broccoli. Or any vegetable. Ew. YUCK!

Lux was actually good with relationship advice. Or in this case... Anti-relationship advice? Or maybe Zander just thought so because he was completely lost about it himself. So Lux seemed to know what she was talking about. Either way, he'd definitely end up asking her if she had any advice for when he was actually ready to date and all... Which wouldn't be for a while. Probably not until he was married. Yeah. Good plan. Girls are icky. Except Bentley. Bentley is perfect-- AH NO BRUSSELS SPROUTS!

AH SHE WAS EATING THE FOOD! THANK GOODNESS! That seemed to stop her from going on any further! His plan to distract was actually working. Hallelujah! He watched with a satisfied grin as Lux seemed to enjoy his gooey cheesy creation. Yes, macaroni was indeed a pretty fantastic choice. "GREAT! Now EAT THIS ONE!" Zander didn't even wait for her to finish the first tub before shoving the second one into her face. This one was the Kenaz one. He had absolutely no idea of what the difference in taste would be like. Hopefully it didn't make it yucky or something. He did not need to think of Brussels Sprouts when he ate macaroni. Ew. The horror.

"Soooooo, what do you think?" And more importantly which one did she think was made from what. Also importantly, be distracted Lux. Be hypnotized by this gooey macaroni and do not think about Zander's crush. MUAHA. But yeah, just eat the food please.
