Then hey! he saw someone whom he did know and recognize walk out to the lake too.

"Hey Addi. Glad to see you here. Couldn't resist the frozen lake, huh?," he waved over to the girl. Cris turned to Jasmine. "That's Addi. I met her when I was out running a couple of weeks ago....and no...you have no reason to be jealous of her," he smiled at her, giving her hand an assuring squeeze.
