Caterina had heard that the lake was completely frozen over and once she'd stepped outside, she wasn't surprised at all. She did think about going back in, but she was far too curious for hiding inside so carefully, she headed down to see this for herself. When she arrived, she noted several of her classmates had already beaten her to it. Mo was there yelling, Nigel, and Vesper was there too. Actually, Vesper was on the ice. Skating! What a fabulous idea! Ice skating was cool and it took a lot of balance. It was sort of like ballet on ice and while Cat hadn't danced or skated in a while, she wondered if it was easy to pick up again.
"Hello everyone." She called, offering them all as warm of a smile as she could muster with all the cold. She stepped closer to the lake, "Can you do any twirls, Vesper?" She asked curiously. |
