He had been staring at the lake without really paying attention but now a voice was yelling at him. It took him only a second to recognize the person speaking. "Huuuuuullo Vesper!" A smile tugged at his lips as he held out his hand and waved.
Apparently though, she didn't just want to say hi? Apparently she wanted him to SKATE?"But I don't know how! What if I fall and crack the ice and break everything????" THAT WOULD BE SCARY! She could REALLY find skates for him....could she?
"You shouldn't worry about that, Kyroh. I'll hold your hand! I won't let you fall." Like with Professor Flamsteed, Ves would protect his bum. Nothing would be broken on her watch...Besides, there would be a ton of them out there. If something bad did happen, there was more than enough people to handle matters. Also, a Professor would be around.

Cris knew Sander would be green with envy, if he heard Crus had been outdoors skating and he didn't need the Room of Requirements to do that. Cris was racing around the ice when he saw Kyroh sitting on the water's edge looking out at those skating.
Cris wondered why he wasn't out here skating with the rest of them. Then it dawned on him. Maybe he didn't know how to skate. No...no. Cris knew that he had to get the boy involved somehow. So turning to Jasmine, he pointed out Kyroh to her.
"Let's try to convince Kyroh to join us," he told her as he began skating towards the young Ravenclaw.
However, just as he skated up to the boy, he saw an older Ravenclaw walk up to him. It looked like she was also trying to convince Kyroh to do the same like he was.
"Hey there Kyroh...um...hi," Cris smiled acknowledging the girl's presence. "Would you guys like to join Jasmine and I on the ice? Do you need a pair of skates, Kyroh?" Cris turned to ask the younger boy when he noticed he didn't have any.
"I have a smaller pair in my backpack. I brought them for Jasmine but it looks like she brought her own. Hang on while I go get them," Cris informed both Claws as he skated over to his backpack and retrieved the pair of skates and brought them over.
"Try them on. If they're too big we can always make the smaller," Cris smiled encouragingly at the younger boy as he handed over the skates to him.
"The skates are great, thanks..." She didn't know this dude or his last name. She didn't pay too much attention to Hufflepuffs...unfortunately. Not that she was unfriendly or particularly
against Hufflepuffs. She wasn't...Ves just had too much on her mind lately to pay attention to new kids. Gosh, that sounded awful, didn't it?
"We're all out here together...So, we'll be skating together, anyway." Technically. Mhm. Her attention flickered back to Kyroh.
"Do those fit?" She beamed at her housemate.
If not, there were resizing charms. Now, if it was a
charm...Vesper could handle that. Any other areas of magic, though...Don't look at her. She was terrible at 'em.
"Do you need help with the laces? They can be difficult to work..."
