Jasmine had on just about every article of clothing that she owned. It was soooo cold. When she neared the lake, she could see Cris up ahead putting on his skates. She watched as he skated out onto the ice. Shaking her head, Jasmine called out to Cris. "You know we're totally insane, right?" Everyone else was trying to get away from the cold and here they were embracing it.

Sitting down to put on her skates, Jasmine laced them tightly. "I'm not sure how long I can last out here, but I'll give it a try." Stepping onto the ice, Jasmine slowly began to glide over toward Cris. Hopefully skating would warm her up a little bit. "Are you sure this thing is really frozen?" Jasmine had no desire to fall through the ice. She would freeze to death for sure.
