Kace walked down to the lake to meet Cinna for potions homework. He was working with Marigold on it but she suddenly got ill and couldn't finish it. But that was fine. Things happened. He had Cinna! He was glad he wasn't the only one who did it last minute. He saw her and smiled.
"Hey Cinna!!" he called out over the winds. It was a tad chilly today. Luckily he still had his potion left to make it work. "Let's get this show on the road.." he said showing his potion bottle.

As the wind continued to blow across the lake the water began to turn to ice. Soon there was no water left just a big block of ice. The Black Lake was now The Black Frozen Lake.

Ahh there he was. She waved at him when he called her out. Ugh she had the sudden urge to blow off the assignment. If wanted to of course. It was due in a few hours anyway she wasn't even sure if they could get it done in time. "How about we blow it off. And do something funnier than homework?" She didn't know what yet.
About that time the winds really stared to pick up. Did the lake just freeze like solid? It looked like it did? Can anyone say ice skating? "You think it's solid enough?" Turning back to Kace. If it was they could totally go ice skating.
