23. Telescope
“Whoa what happened to your eye??” Dax heard someone yell as he took his seat at the back of his Dark Arts class. He knew what they were on about and sunk further down into his seat, trying to remove attention from himself. Even then the prying eyes didn’t look away. If he wasn’t mistaken they’d only gotten more curious.
“It’s nothing, just ran into my telescope, is all.” He muttered, pulling the book over his face.
“How’d you manage that?” Came a sceptic voice. “Looks more like a punch for snitching. You’ve gotten enough of those.”
“It was dark okay?”
