This was it, their one year anniversary. How had they been together for one year already? Emmylou felt weird not getting him just an anniversary present but his birthday/Christmas present was for their anniversary to because she had to spend her money on her friends as well. which made her sad but she was lucky to even get an allowance while being at Hogwarts. For the first time since September Emmylou finally remembered where she had to meet someone but maybe that was because this was very important and it was but she was also very nervous. The Gryffindor knew that there was nothing to be worried about but that also made her even more nervous.
Emmylou walked into the shop and looked around for her boyfriend. Where was he. Oh! Right there! Emmylou smiled brightly and waved to him before she pretty much ran over to him and gave him a long hug. "I missed you!"
As Kace was sitting there nervously, he noticed Emmy came. When she came through the door, his reaction was, Woww...she looked gorgeous. He blinked a couple times to make sure his eyes didn't play tricks on him. But it was the truth. She looked lovely in her dress. He smiled and got up from his chair and he felt her hug first. Then he wrapped his arms around her and said, "I have missed you too.." while squeezing tighter.
"I am glad to be back and now I can spend time with my favorite girl.." he said lightly stroking her cheek. He then realized she needed to sit. He took his hand away from her cheek and pulled out the chair for her to sit in.
"Ladies first.." he grinned.
"By the way you look beautiful.." he said still admiring her dress.
Then he walked around and fiddled with his box.
"Remember when you said I didn't have to get you anything...?" he said reaching into his pocket and revealed the box with his gift.
