Bathes in Maple Syrup | Dancing Lobster | Mrs. Charlie Weasley | Seneca's Beard | That's So Fetch Yes, this was rather pleasant. Demelza couldn't help but wonder why it had taken the two of them so long to come to the realization that they had something in common besides that bathroom fiasco. This was why the school needed classes that were dedicated to the arts. She would have been able to meet people like her a lot quicker if people at Hogwarts were not forced to set their art-related passions aside for the traditional and boring stuff. It was clear that the arts needed to be integrated into the curriculum. Exhibit A: she and a professor were talking about the exciting history of the acting world. Outside of the classroom even. See? The arts were super beneficial!
"Oh, Margaret Hughes. Don't even get me started on her. She is one of my idols," the brunette said, leaving out that she planned on living up to the historic woman’s legacy and beyond. She was just that amazing of an actress already at seventeen. "And the Branaghs are so ... dreamy. Clifton is certainly a charmer, let me tell you. He signed my copy of Witch Weekly, actually." That's right. Demelza Diggle got to speak with Clifton Branagh AND walk away with his signature on a magazine featuring that handsome face of his.
Speaking of faces, it was clear that this mirror would not be showing anyone's any time soon. If a Ravenclaw couldn't fix this mirror, then there was no hope – not even from the stylish Headmistress. She was ready to give up and search elsewhere to do her daily acting exercises. Maybe she would actually find the Room of Requirement. There would be no need to look for a Ravenclaw, though. She'd just ask a fellow Gryffindor since the room was somewhere on the seventh floor.
But then, out of the blue, Flamsteed started grunting. What was he doing??
Demelza, breaking out of character, blinked at the professor in silence. Did he need help or...? "Professor Glendower?" the girl repeated, wondering why that name sounded so familiar to her. Then it hit her. Professor Nessarose Glendower had been a teacher assistant at the Academy. "Oh my gosh! I totally forgot that she is teaching here now." It probably didn't help that she was not in the woman's class due to not being a History of Magic NEWT student. "I'll have to visit her sometime soon. Umm ... do you need some assistance, professor?"
