Now this was the kind of homework she enjoyed. Lux was happy as she made her way to the duelling arena. Practicing magic could be fun, and at least she would be working with a dummy, not another person.
Spotting Bay, Cris, and Jasmine already there, she smiled. It was awesome to see them. "Hey guys!" A second after she realized that she might have distracted them. Oops. Time for her to head over to her own dummy now. Finding a good spot, she began making the sideways 'v' with her wand over and over again. It was good to practice the wand movement before starting, so that she could get into the groove. "I wish you were a zombie piņata," she said aloud to her dummy as she worked with her wand. "Then I could get more candy." That was something she could never have enough of.
