Oh no. Not again. Adi could hear the tone in Angel's voice and knew she wanted to burst out crying. Ugh! He couldn't deal with when people cry. How was Angel so different from AJ? AJ needed to teach her sister to toughen up a bit.
"Yeah, well you can keep him, Angel,'' Adi said, frowning at a picture of an infant Hippogriff.
"Spend all the time you want with him.'' His eyebrows shot up at her next statement. Play date? What was he? Three or something?
"I don't need play dates. I'm not a kid.'' Adi sighed.
"Buzz off, Angel. I want to be alone.'' But somehow he knew she would not leave just yet.
