They fixed themselves so she could keep blasting without a care. Her head turned at the sound of a voice. Oh. Cutty. That was alright then.
"It looked like bombarda." She corrected. She was hoping for the 'Maxima' effect and in comparison, this one had been weak. Her eyes followed him as he got closer.
"I was working on the 'Bombarda Maxima' incantation, for bigger explosions. Don't reckon I'll have a legit reason to use it while at school but I can't get in trouble for it either so long as it's in here." Lex waited for the dummy to right itself then took aim again. "Bombarda Maxima!" And an even BIGGER boom than the first, but the Gryffindor was not satisfied.
With a sigh, she turned to look at him once more. "Come to learn some defensive spells?" You know...him being in the dueling arena and all...
"
Well, one never knows. Besides, 'It's a good thing I never took the time to prepare for this!' said no one eveh." That was his main focus anyway. Preparation. But he'd sort of let the ball drop in this his third year. Sort of. I mean, he did come to the Dueling Arena alone. Cutty watched as the dummy pulled itself together like an extremely self-sufficient Humpty Dumpty. "
Yeah, Just trying to put to good use the things I've read about in books. You know, a little practical to the theory."
"
Maybe it's what yer blowin' oop." Shame that. It was probably one of those spells that only worked where it had material to work with, like Rictemsepra, which Cutty imagined wouldn't be too effective on an inanimate object. The spells creation probably had a specific use in mind. Necessity was the mother of all invention afterall. "
Engorgio!" He said aiming his wand at the dummy and growing it until it was roughly the size of bear.
