Ava watched as some of the other students emptied their pocket. Making a face, she couldn't help but wonder why anyone would want to bring food with this to class. Especially a class so covered with dirt and fertilizer potting soil. Gross!

At least she had remembered her gloves. Slipping her pack off of her back, she sat it on the ground and bent over to fish them out.

New gloves. They always felt nice the first time pulling them on. They were still a bit snug so she wiggled her fingers while waiting to begin.
