Declan managed to barely cross into autumn, so that half of his bubble was raining leaves and the other was soldering hot and smelled like ocean water.
The sleeve of his shirt was colored red from holding it against his nosebleed for the whole trek across summer. That's when he noticed Kace again and he too was bleeding from his nose. "Sensitive to the heat too, eh, Kace?" No, wait. He had bruises on his face. Bleeding, yes. From the sun, no.
Can he get out of this bubble, now??
