Post #5 Spring Yeah I broke that mirror, so what? ll NOT backward ll Official Gryfferin ll Lemon's favourite
Somehow her planet had gotten to rolling again while she was in a state of flopping. It must have been one of several people hitting into her while she laid their all non-responsive like. It was the frost, she was slowly thawing OKAY?? Had to let the Spring warmth get to her. It was only seconds ago that she realized the pendulum had sent her forward and not back. That was what she called hitting the ball just right and she wasn't complaining.
After another moment of just lying there catching her breath, Lex hauled herself up being careful not the smoosh the flowers that must have sprang up while she was waiting for the snow to leave.
Alright, back to the task at hand. She had beat the winter! She could do this! Now someone tell her it wasn't raining in her bubble because she was about to break something. "Of ALL the things that come with Spring you choose to RAIN????" It was like snow all over again, just not cold and not as much mushy....'cept for the dirt below the grass. And here she thought she'd been happy to see the little buggers sprining from the bottom of the bubble.
This was gonna make things all kind of slippery for her.
As she waddled on, doing her best to keep the freshly formed mud off her socks she could feel her shoes becoming soaked to the soles. Merlin this was uncomfy and made for hard trudging weather. Such a good thing she'd bothered pulling her hair into a ponytail earlier, otherwise it'd be getting in the way with this weather.
Come on Lex! March march march! She was going good too--until someone ELSE bumped into her and sent her splattering in the mud. Ugh. Getting up was getting harder and harder. A long shower would be in order after they were done here...unless this was all an illusion that would disappear after. Yes? Please?
