Marigold jumped forwards to avoid the pendulum behind her, and fell into winter. It was definitely winter because it began snowing immediately after she landed, white flurries falling on her hair. She trudged through, the snows falling quicker and quicker until she could hardly see anymore. She dodged a person. Or was that the pendulum? All she could focus on was getting to spring. |
