She'd deal with that later. Right now, she must continue her potion as not to screw up. She saw other students add the bloods, so that was what she did. Maybe a little too fast, because her potion smelled weird now, even with the pomegranate. The eleven year-old quickly put in her griffin claw. It helped a bit, but Marisol covered her nose with her robes anyway.
Oh, okay, cool. Sophie could handle this.
She looked over at the girl, who seemed to be scrambling to catch up. She looked like she kind of thought her cauldron might explode, too, which caused Sophie to proceed with caution.
"Hey," she said to her.
"I'm Sophie. Do you need some help?"
Because, some people may not be cool with getting help in class, so she figured it was better to at least ask first.
