Tricksy Hobbitses
Four words or less to answer a question. Creative of Flamsteed. She liked that. It kept things interesting. Choosing her words carefully meant that there was more time to get the question right too, which was important. Hmmmm, how could she put the fact that the earth revolves around the sun on a tilt, meaning that in winter the sun wasn't near the earth and so on in four words or less? This would take a lot of omission. Which would mean taking out all of the and's, if's, the's and but's. Haha, taking out the butt. Okay, she needed to focus on this. Coming up with the answer made her feel like a cave woman back in the old days before all of this happened. Or at leas the television version of cave people. No one actually heard a caveman talk before, so they might have spoken Italian for all anybody knew. That would have been interesting. Italian speaking cave people. Anyway, focus.
"Earth rotate around sun." And to pull her point in, the girl made a turning motion with her finger. The blue eyed girl had pretty much said the same thing as everyone else. So, this creative exercise was a fail for her. Or more to say that she had failed the creative exercise. Well, it was fact. And how do you make fact creative, besides word games? That was a good question, was it not? How could reciting fact be creative if it was the same tidbit of fact that they had learned all of their lives? She would have to ask someone that later. Because it was stumping her.
Also, that quaffle on the desk that she had just noticed was hurtful. Reminding her that all of the work she had put in was for nothing. It had to be harder for people who actually PLAYED organized quidditch before, but it still really stunk to try for something all year and then have it not happen. Yeah, the second year was a little bitter. You could say that. The Ravenclaw didn't want to know what would happen next. Especially since last years issue started out small. Was EVERY year at Hogwarts like this? Because that would be messed up and kind of awesome.
