Dancing Through Life
Gwen's hand shot up at the question. This was a question she loved. "My favorite season is summer!" the twelve year old said excitedly. "Because it has my birthday in it, and the Fourth of July!" As the words came out, the American girl realized that likely, that was not a favorite holiday for anyone in this room besides herself. But it was special. She got to go back to New York for July and spend time with her dad and her siblings, and eat hot dogs, and watch baseball games, and the FIREWORKS! It was the most exciting holiday ever. "'Cause that's a holiday where I'm from," she explained. In case they didn't know. Which some of them probably didn't. America's Independence, as it turned out, was not as important to British people as it was to American people. Even less important to British wizards.
