Going through the motions and using the lint roller just to make Flamsteed happy, Sophie side-eyed every student who was sliding from their seats or leaning over and peering down at the legs of their chairs curiously. Well, then. Never a boring Astronomy class, eh? Already seemed this term would be no different. "Evening, professor," Sophie greeted, saluting right back. All about those salutes. "S'pleasant to see you as not an old man again." Just an observation, if he cared for her opinion. She had an appreciation for his hat, too, and nodded her approval in acknowledgement of it.

Heading toward Mo, the third year eyed a wobbly vacant seat near him before she rested her bag of class materials on the floor and slowly lowered herself down into her chair, scooting around in it distrustfully. Why was this a thing?

Astronomy had always been a particular favourite of Toby's. He got okay grades in it, but was never top of the class or anything. Still, Arey understood the sentiment of 'in the name of fun', so he wasn't going to miss it for the world. Not that he had the choice to miss it. Ahem.

Full of bundles and bundles of energy even despite the long walk up to the top of the Astronomy tower, Toby lint-rollered himself and bounced into the room. He immediately saw a quaffle, and couldn't help but focus on purely that. Quidditch feelings happened, but the energy was sTILL THERE. Wanting to remedy any sort of sad before it manifested itself, Toby quickly spotted Soph sitting by Mo and sat in a seat beside her.

.............. And wobbled to one side. Errrr?

Toby grabbed the desk to steady himself, but that wobbled too, so he quickly let that go. The Hufflepuff glanced around the room to look for a chair to swap out with, but on closer inspection, others seemed to be having trouble too. Huh.

Eventually, Toby's gaze fell on a behatted Airey, and he smiled.

"Evening, Professor Airey," the now-fifteen-year-old grinned at the Astronomer, as he carefully started to set out his note-taking things and textbook on his wobbly wobbly desk.
