It was good to see her again; Tobias had missed her, even if he had seen her over the summer. It just wasn't the same as when they were at school.
He allowed his hand to be grabbed and followed Sophie into the compartment and soon took a seat in one of the free seats across from her, dumping his skateboard and backpack (which made an unmistakeably loud and uncharacteristic clattering sound) on the seat beside him. "I've been looking all down the train for you," Tobias revealed, brushing his hair away from his eyes, though it wasn't even in his eyes to start with. It was just a new fidgety habit he'd developed. "Figures you'd be hiding from me right down here."
Toby gave Soph a cheeky grin, and then his eyes lit up. "Ooh, let's see the goods. I brought us some muggle sweets too, from the shop in Kings Cross. We can have a pre-Feast feast."
Food. Just all of the food. Since all the summer Quidditch had started, Toby's appetite had increased tenfold, if possible. But it was fine, because he was easily burning off all that excess food. There were a lot of pros to being perpetually in motion. Sophie noted the belongings he had brought with him to the compartment with a smile, but she was concerned that there was no cat in sight this time. Hm. Strange, wasn't that? Had it already run off to explore or something?
"Should've started at the back of the train," she chided teasingly, making herself comfortable and spreading out on her seat once more. "You should've channeled me through our bestie brain connection and just known where I'd be. We'll have to work on strengthening that this term." She was pulling out handfuls of various sweets from her bag as she spoke, setting out crystallised pineapple, chocolate frogs, chocoballs, cauldron cakes, packages of droobles, pumpkin pasties, and toothflossing stringmints in a pile on her lap. "Whaddya want? There's a lot more stuff in here - m'mum got me one of those, y'know, expanding bags this summer and we stocked up." She patted the knapsack gleefully. "This term, I should finally have enough to last till the holidays, even if I follow Mo's rules about eating well and all." Text Cut: Mo Quote:

If she really loved him, why didn't she already know that he needed her a LOT right now? Hmm?
And speak of the devil.
She had heard the loud noises from the corridor, but had thought nothing of it till Mo appeared, looking and sounding uncharacteristically distraught. And for good reason, too, Sophie decided - Cat was MISSING?
"Huh. I... haven't seen her - I assumed if she wasn't here with me, she'd be with you." Pause. "Think she's with Elodie?" That was the third and final person Sophie assumed Cat would be visiting with. "...If y'want, you can have some of our candy, hm?" It looked like he needed it. That was also her way of inviting him to stay and wait a bit to see if Cat went walking by. But she'd also understand if he wanted to leave and find his missing girlfriend. She couldn't have missed the train, right? She wouldn't.
