All this talk was good, but Toby's backpack was getting heavy. Figuring it couldn't hurt to just keep it on the ground while he stood here, Toby heaved the thing off of his back and dropped it onto the floor beside him. As he did so, he heard the multitude of things inside the magically extended bag shift and fall about, an he wondered if he'd ever be able to get his pogo stick out of it again.

And I think I can even give out detentions." That was a total lie but he didn't expect Toby to know any different. Besides Theo was sure that he could convince a teacher to give out his detentions. He was a persuasive kid when he wanted to be.
Theo squinted at the kid's bag when it started making jangling and shifting noises. "
