This was one reason why she thought her dad didn't want her going to Hogwarts. It was just what she always thought.
Her cat jumped off her trunk on the trolley and took off through the crowd. Great just great. Her new cat was on the loose in the train station. She set off after him. Bloody cat had been sleeping on her trunk the whole time. Until now. Fast little thing to. If she was late getting off the train. She was going to be mad.
She ran along behind the cat dodging people in the crowd. All she could do was follow him. She still did not have a name for him, yet. "Ugh, stupid cat come back here." but the cat wouldn't listen. It didn't even stop and turn around. He just darted out of the crowd and was now prancing and rubbing up against a boy... That she didn't know. Stupid no name cat. "I'm sorry about him. He's totally out of control." She said as she approached the boy. She snatched up the cat and put him back on her trunk. HE WAS BEING ATTACKED BY A CAT!
............................... Or not.
Regardless, the touch of the cat made him jump and stare down at the little creature with wide eyes. Jeez. Whose little terror did this belong to? Didn't they know how to keep a hold of their animals? HMMMMMMMM? And why was it rubbing against him like it was suddenly in love with him? Jeez.
And then came the appearance of someone else. Grayson looked up at her instead, his eyebrows furrowed. So the feline belonged to her, did it? HMMMM. He was already mentally putting a label on this one. Can't keep control of her pets. Uh huh. Either that or she had let it go on its own. Probably wanted to attack him or throw him off.
Be nice, his mother had said. Be. Nice. Ugh!
'Least she was apologising. Good. "And here I was thinking he just liked me," he said, glancing down at the cat that was on the girl's trunk again, "What's his name?" |
