"I cant!" she shouted before tripping over her own shoe as it came unclipped and was falling off her foot. her doll flew out of her hand and she landed on the ground in a THUD. her mummy was going to yell at her. this was a new dress.
He was completely unaware his niece was right behind him. to his knowledge she was still back with his sister. He had his trolley thing and the time to worry about. he wanted to get to THROUGH the barrier by fifteen till so that he could load up and stuff. He also wanted to be able to sit with his niece for a few moments before going through the thing. until he heard he yell that she couldn't something.... Pulling back on the trolley he turned to see his little niece faceplanted in the floor and her
doll laying a foot away from her.
"Aww, 'Kayla." she was so cute. pulling back on his cart he pulled it back to where she was and helped her up.
"what are you doing, crazy girl?" Beverly Wayne didn't exactly feel like royalty, but something close to it as she rode the trolley, shades on, and sat on her trunk as her brother pushed it. The perks of being a little sister, she took advantage of them.
"I have my wand and parchment and quills and uniforms and everything else I might need," she said just as Kennedy opened his mouth to speak. They'd gone over this ever since they left home, he was just too predictable.
"And--" She didn't get to finish. Right up ahead were two familiar figures, and without intending to, her eyes lit up. "Stop the trolley!" she squeaked, already hopping off of it, and almost giving her brother a mild heart attack.
Trying to seem ever so casual, the now fourth year strode over, picking up the doll McKayla had dropped and approached them.
"I'd say she's more adventurous," Beverly chimed in, poking Jeremiah on his side, a small grin dancing on her lips. Hi.
What did she think she was doing jumping off the trolley like that?!
Not that he was freaking out or anything, but she could have fallen or broken a bone. He'd be done for if she even as much got a scratch. Kids. The reckless bunch, they were. Following his sister, Kennedy wore an unimpressed look on his face when he saw who it was that had inspired her to jump off a moving trolley.
The Boy. Of course, who else would it be?
