In the meantime, she took Headmistress' cup and with her other hand grabbed the ladle inside the bucket, and filled the rest of the goblet with the still warm and steaming potion. It also stank. Poor people having to drink that.

She handed it back to the woman and looked at the other one next to her.

"Yes, professor," she said to the old woman. Amethyst was over 50, but she looked like she was one of the youngest people here. She reached for her cup, dipped the ladle once again and filled it with the warm and stinking potion. She then placed it back on the table in front of her, and her eyes fell on the school healer.

She smiled softly at the lady before turning to look at her assistant to see how he was doing.

"How do we distribute this?" she asked him, though staff was welcome to answer too. "Fill the jugs with it?" Because she wasn't having the kids walk to here with their weak legs.

Excceeellleeenntt! Seren's eyes may have been sparkling in anticipation as the Healer filled her goblet, and really... already she was dying to consume it - regardless of the smell. However, as she went to down the warm potion, Seren had to stop so as not to splutter it everywhere...

IT WAS FOUUUUL! ....... Merlin.

"Uggghhhh, that's disgusting," she murmured beneath her breath. Deciding to pour herself a second drink, Seren held both goblets in hand, one with the potion, the other with pumpkin juice and chugged and chased. Her body shivered involuntarily at the flavour, but as she drank deeply from the pumpkin juice the terrible flavour on her tongue dissipated.

SPOILER!!: Speeeech!

Anastasia tossed back the goblet in one go, choking it down and gagging a little bit because of the smell. She forced the vile beverage down regardless because this was THE cure. This was it! THIS would take her back to her wrinkle-free red-haired self! Once the drink was drank, the Headmistress wiped her mouth on the back of her hand and hobbled around the table to her usual speech-giving spot. Was it just her imagination or was the skin on her face and neck tightening up already? She gripped the edges of the podium tight nonetheless, cast sonorous on herself, and spoke up to the crowd.

"Attention teachers and students, we have FOUND a CURE to the aging disease! Healer Boyle and...." shoot, what was his name, her mind wasn't 100% just yet, "Healer Wombat will be around to each table with the potion shortly. You will want to mix it with something to dilute the.... taste." And the smell, for reals. "So help each other out and pass that along.

"Thank you all for surviving this term; as of right now, I only know of one staff member leaving, and that is because she wishes to further her divination studies abroad."
Annie sort of turned her head in Calista's direction before facing forward again.

Now one last thing before they could eat... "Congratulations to Hufflepuff for winning the House and Quidditch Cups, AND Gobstones too. Congrats to Ravenclaw for coming in second place in Quidditch and Gobstones, and to Gryffindor for coming in second in the House cup." That had been a long time coming for both of those houses, so that was why she was recognizing them. "Congratulations also to all our graduating 7th years and best of luck. That's all I have to say, so without further ado, let's EAT and DRINK UP!"

Pulling a face and pushing away her now empty potions goblet, Seren straightened in her seat at Annie's address. She nodded, especially with regard to Gryffindor placing second in the run for the House Cup. It was a tremendous effort, and she would be forever proud of them.

Seren clapped her hands together in applause before becoming distracted by the feast which appeared before them. Roast, mash, gravy ... it had her name on it.
