"And, you guys will be there, of course," she assured her friends with a wink. Not that she had any plans yet. Goodness, that was a lot to think about. She was just going to worry about this summer- that was at the forefront of her mind.

Tessa wrinkled her nose. She was all for color, but sparkles were a bit much for her... especially the amount Tinkerbell usually was associated with. "You would say that to anything I would wear," she pointed out, raising an eyebrow. Therefore, hardly a valid argument when trying to convince her to wear it. "But thank you," she added with a wink.

She smiled as Sander went along with her dodging of the question, and looked down at the ring with a warm smile when he placed his hand with her own. She nodded in agreement with his words and felt a flutter in her stomach as he talked about the future. Their future. Something so exciting to think about.

She laughed softly at his question and looked around. She did care about her friend's opinions, but at the same time, if they had been opposed to their relationship, they probably would have said something at the start.

Sander winked at Tessa as she explained to Lux what the ring represented. He still couldn't believe that she had agreed to wear his promise ring and had to look down at the finger that donned it and brushed his fingers against it.

Yes someday who knows what will happen. It was nice to look to the future, especially if Tessa was there with him.

So they weren't getting married after all? And what on earth is a promise ring? Listening to Sander explain it, the concept seemed to be both interesting and romantic. Their relationship had reached the next level, but had not advanced to the point where they were getting married.

Curiously, she continued to look at the ring on Tessa's finger. "That's wonderful, I am glad that there will be a wedding I can go to." At some point in the future when they were older and had careers sorted. "It's a really pretty ring."

Sander turned to look at Lux and laughed when she mentioned she was glad she would now have a wedding she could go too. The girl was definitely really eager to see them married, and Sander loved her optimism for their future.

"I look forward to showing all of you the sights, like I'm looking forward to seeing you all again during the summer," Sander turned to smile at all his friends. Who would have thought that almost a year ago, he was dreading coming to this school, and that he was worried he wouldn't make any friends. But he was glad he had been wrong. He would never trade their friendship for anything in the world.

SPOILER!!: Alex

When Sander asked for his friends' blessing, Alex was surprised. "You know twin, it doesn't matter what any of us think. As long as you two love each other, that's all that matters. For the record though, I approve.". Alex laughed at he thought that her opinion mattered in this case.

Sander laughed and nodded his thanks to Alex. "Thanks Alex, I really appreciate your approval," Sander winked at her. He knew that he could always rely on his best friend.

It was time now to share his news with his friends. Pulling out two letters from his jacket pocket, Sander gave the letters to Tessa to read it and while she was doing that, he told the others what the content of the letters were.

"I received one letter yesterday and the other a week ago. The second one is from the team that I was hoping to play professionally with," Sander paused trying to find the words to let his friends know what the organization had written to him about.

He took a deep breath and released it. "I've been offered a seven year contract to play with them and I'm going to sign with them when I get back home," Sander blurted out the details. He couldn't contain his excitement any longer.

"And everyone, this isn't the only other piece of good news. The other letter I received is from the Wizarding University in Russia. I've been accepted to study Magizoology there," Sander shared his second piece of news.

"I know it's sounds really overwhelming...playing and studying at the same time. But while I was home during the winter, I was able to speak with the Dean of Admissions there and he says that I can schedule my classes during season breaks and during the nights or days when I'm not playing. It may take longer than one would take to complete this degree, but I want to try it," Sander told his friends.

Sander then sat back and waited to see whether any of his friends would tell him that what he was doing was crazy and unachievable.
