"I do?" Justine demurely asked, surprised at the young man's words, she hadn't expected to influence the boy in any way, let only in the manner in which he, himself spoke. It was sort of a compliment, and she couldn't help the soft smile that graced her lips at the idea. Why was his face suddenly turning pink? Was it too warm for him in the common room? They were a bit close to the fireplace, maybe that was it.
"Never? Really? But it is such an odd phrase, I still cannot understand it completely, it is very veird." Justine said, with an amused smile.

At the boy's encouraging words and determined demeanor, Justine felt a bit better, maybe even a little hopeful, but not entirely. "You are very sweet Andrew, I 'ope you are right," Justine replied, putting her hand gently on his in a show of gratitude.

Justine patiently listened as the boy tried to recall what he had been up to recently, before gesturing to the book on the nearby table. Relinquishing his hand, Justine stood and walked to the book, picking it up and turning it over to read the back.
"Runes and vellums? Is it for school or pleasure?" Justine asked, causally opening the book and pouring over it's yellowed pages.
