At least she was starting to calm down more and wasn't shaky on her feet.

Noticing that he seemed to be feeling a little sore, she frowned. "Is your back okay, Sander?" His harsh landing must have jarred it or something. Following after him, she hoped that Bay was coming along too, because she did not want him to be far behind. She wanted him near her.

And what was that smell? The further she walked, the worse it got. Ewww, swamps smelt really nasty. Covering her nose with her hand, she looked about her as she went, eyes out for any logs that she could use. As the swamp came into view, she spotted one. Oh, how convenient that was.

Now to remember the spell, which was a little hard after that ordeal she had gone through and the smell was not making things easier for her. Sigh. Think, Lux... you know what the spell is.

Closing her eyes, she focused really hard, and after a few moments it came to her. That was the benefit of not being old; her memory was still intact. With a smile on her face, she tapped the log and said, "Lignum Navicula." As she watched, a boat was created before her eyes. "Look, I did it! Now I just need to make paddles." Errr....how did she make paddles again?

"Let me worry about that, Lux," Sander patted Lux on her shoulder comfortingly. He looked down at the ground searching for a piece of stick. One strong and thick. He picked up a couple until finally settling on one. Placing it on the ground, he waved his wand over it, first moving it in a horizontal line and then followed by a loop, as if he was drawing the shape of a spoon in the air and said, "Ta-lea".

Sander watched as the small stick began to stretch in length and width, one end of it becoming broader and flatter than the rest, until it became a paddle.

"Here you go, Lux. Here's your paddle. Now get into the boat and I'll push you off. Bay, you push off first, so that you can be in front of Lux. I'll follow after Lux," Sander called out to the young Gryffindor.

He watched as Bay got into his boat and pushed off, before getting behind Lux's boat and pushing it into the swamp. Then he got into his own boat, sat down and picked up his paddle.

"Okay. I'm ready. It's time to start paddling everyone," Sander called out to both Bay and Lux. He couldn't wait to feel solid ground again.
