Adelaide laughed. "Dang it. Had a feeling you might say that though. The idea of having to be an actual adult is really scary." Sure she was pretty sure what she wanted to do with her life now, but that didn't make it any less scary. Even more terrifying actually.

Addi smiled wide. "That's fantastic!" Then she caught the last bit and her smile faded. "Transfer schools?! Nope. I'm not allowing it." Mainly because he was her only non-snake friend. She needed at least the much variety. Plus she didn't want to lose him her last year there.
