"Umm...our parents aren't going to be contacted for this?" Because they SHOULD. Her dad should be here, and her brother. Beverly did as she was told, fiddling with her bracelet as she sat on one of the beds.
Calling home sounded like a good idea right now.
It took him longer than the others as he'd gotten a later start, but he eventually made it up to the Observation Ward with Healers Wombley & Boyle. He spotted dear old Bev Wayne placed upon a bed nearby and fiddling away with her black pearls again. This caught his interest as it did the day they met at the opening feast. Like a spellbound niffler he watched their soft sheen catch the light as his breathing normalized from it's huffing and puffing.
"
You're still lookin' a bit...old, Wayne." He informed her as his eyes moved from her bracelet to the actual person IN it, incase she didn't know. He had expected an immediate healing process. Like they would've already gotten a jump start on the research aspect from afar to have general knowledge of what they were dealing with.

Cece had only been a few beds away so how was it that Calista didn't see her there? Maybe the woman was losing her eyesight. Something they would have to check into. "I'm right here professor." Could she see her now? "And these healers are here to help get everyone back to their normal selves." That includes you. Unless you want to stay an old lady like that. "I'm sure you understand that it's a bit more than just broken bones going on around here." And if she didn't, well maybe they should get to checking her eyesight right away.
An attempt to climb onto the bed and have a seat near Beverly was made by Cutty, but his old bones couldn't handle it and so he just propped his elbows upon it and leaned against the edge. It had been nearly the entire term since he'd last seen Healer Tillstorm. He supposed that was a good thing. He hated for anyone to see him vulnerable and besides it meant that he was able to take care of himself for the most part. Sometimes others to the extent that he was actually considering becoming a healer himself. He pushed his spectacles further up the bridge of his nose and watched with curiousity as those around him bearing such titles worked carefully taking mental note of the words they said and how they said them. Too bad his bedside manner was atrocious and his name was Cutty. Healer Cutty followed by anything hardly sounded healing.
