Were she and Custard all bonded now or whatever? Alice decided that they were, and the first order of business was to get it/his/her/whatever tongue far, far away from her nose. "We don't stick our tongue up our beloved human's nose, k, lil' guy?" Yeah. But it seemed like it/he/her/whatever got it, so all was well. Meant they could move on to the real exercise.

Which was... walking. Really, it would be an extremely menial task if her joints weren't so ridiculously stiff. But even as she moved the slightest bit, Custard rolled along beside her. That was enough to prove her spell had worked, yeah? Not quite keen on recasting, Alice only wandered around a bit before she and her puffskein came to a halt. That was enough exercise for a day, most definitely. And maybe she could even find it/him/her/whatever a snotty kid's nose out of which to slurp bogeys.
