The Last of Her Kind Oh good, they were getting started. Adrienne abandoned all attempts at being polite or even relatively pleasant to be around and turned her wand in her hand so that the tip was actually facing away from her. Prodding people aside, she actually had a spell to cast. Rictusempra, easy enough to pronounce, and she couldn't imagine that she'd be able to mess up such a simple wand movement- even in her weakened state, she was more competent than that! "Okay, on three," she said, pointing her wand at her opponent. "One, rictusempra!" Adrienne exclaimed, before she'd even gotten to the second count. A beam of silvery light came from her wand and hit Ben in the arm and, lowering her wand, she checked to see what the effects seemed to be on him. She'd done everything correctly, right? It had felt so, at least, though she was unsure of how much she trusted her feelings since the whole Alarte Ascendare incident.
