Turning to the chalkboard behind him and Javy, Piers picked up a piece of chalk and wrote down an incantation for them.

Animalis Fidelis

”Animalis Fidelis,” he said, introducing the charm. ”This charm creates a temporary bond of loyalty between the animal and the owner. In this case, the puffskein. Once you cast this charm on your puffskein, or any pet, they will be completely loyal to you. They’ll follow you around, they’ll do what you want, but only temporarily. It will wear off, but point of loyalty between an animal and their owner is to create that bond naturally, right? This only helps initiate the process. But what do I know about animals, eh?” That was Javy’s job.

Speaking of Javy.... Piers had an idea. ”To demonstrate, I’ll give you an example.” Piers took out his wand, and while Javy was looking away, he flicked it towards him and said, ”Animalis Fidelis” Ahem.

”Go ahead and just practice the incantation for now, don’t worry about the wand movement just yet.” Piers nodded, letting them know that they could start practicing the words. And he was going to watch Javy. Heh.

Now this particular spell was a very interesting and handy one. You never know when you'd an animal's ~~someone's~~ instant loyalty. Enthusiastically, the snake scribbled it down and drew a pretty curly-edged rectangular around it indicating its importance and all that. Important stuffs get written down while boring stuffs get nods. Though so far nothing was boring. She liked the topic of Pygmypuffs was a very enjoyable one. She knew most of the stuffs said and her attention was mainly focused on them hopping around. SO cute.

Before starting with practicing the spell she watched the two ~~very handsome~~ professors. She kept reminding herself she was watching the spell's effects and nothing else. Wasn't an easy task but she managed it eventually.

Seeing how effective it seemed to be only got her more pumped to try it herself. She wanted to grab a lil pet ~~or someone even~~ and try it ahead but they had to practice the spell first. She supposed she could wait a bit longer. "Animalis Fidelis," That was way too fast she wanted to nail it from the first try. She could hope! "Ani-ma-lis.... Fiiid-el-is," Much better. And one last time to be sure. "Anim-aliiiis Fid-eeliiis." That had to do it.
