Maybe he was glaring at the man but the moment he heard Emily snapping, it was like she had just slapped him. And a slap coming from a woman he respected and cared about carried lots of feelings and meanings to him. Looking like a scolded child with a sting of regret in his heart, he cut the thing holding Jorge's hand bound, stood up and stepped away feeing the journalist. Then he looked at Emily's angry face...with that look. Merlin...Merlin. Now if Emily wanted to make him feel pain for this, he would do nothing to be against it. He looked around for a chair to offer the man a seat. No chairs just those concrete benches. "Well...um..." he offered his hand for the man on the floor. "Let's start this over then. I will hear your word and..." he glanced back at Emily before facing the man back and going on "...do something about it."
