At first, Sophie thought she was in trouble--what with Professor Culloden ordering her to sit. Then she realized he wasn't really ordering her to sit but offering her a seat. She knew she admired this man for some reason. He'd really been a great Potions professor this year. "Okay," she said, taking the seat. "Thank you."

She stayed quiet while the adults talked. That is, until Mo's mom spoke up and accused her of...well, accusing people left and right. HOW RUDE! Sophie wanted to make a face at her, a really annoyed face, but she didn't. She simply looked the woman in the eye then looked away again.

Again--HOW RUDE! She didn't even remember accusing anyone in front of this woman before. Maybe Mo's mom liked to make up stuff for fun, like Sophie did. Heh. Had she said something before, though--an accusation, and just not remembered it? Hmm... Nevermind that--actions were being taken!

Sophie tried her best to blend herself in the background so as to get the gossip without getting in the middle of a bunch of important adults.
