Things were just getting stranger as the night went on, and Fion was steadily just getting more and more amused. First by the fact her costume had apparently received approval from Vianna, who obviously hadn’t expected Ned to turn her little dare into a party. Sipping her firewhiskey, she’d nodded slightly in response to the comment, though. It wasn’t her business if the other girl hadn’t realized what was likely to have happened when the entire group was involved. “Thanks. Figured it was appropriate,” she replied with a wicked grin, even as the attention had gone back to the boys and the diminutive brunette was left to her own devices yet again. She had her drink, and the odd image of Vince’s dance partner suddenly going crowd surfing courtesy of people on the dance floor she hadn’t remembered seeing there before. That and the sound of the conversation about the MacGhilleseatheanaich twin and his injuries still going on, let alone the argument as to whether or not the terms of the dare had been broken. It hadn’t been a dare presented to herself, although she’d neatly inserted herself back in the library hours earlier.

That brought to mind the curiosity as to exactly how long ago that conversation had even happened. The night had to be half over by now, yet she really wasn’t caring. As far as she was concerned, she’d proven that there weren’t any thieves or murderers hiding out here, and she still was prepared had any shown up. Between her wand, her sword and her determination, they had no chance had they arrived. Her eyes had flickered over to the strange appearance of a figure decked out as a dementor momentarily, but turned back to the group as she heard Airi responding to her offhand comment from before. Hmm, she thought, completely unruffled by the defensive stance the Ravenclaw had. “Of course it doesn’t,” she said, even as Victor had stepped in to smooth the other girl’s feathers so to speak. She hadn’t exactly been too worried about anything happening anyhow. It wasn’t her fault her brand of humor didn’t always mesh with the other girl’s. Enough others that were there didn’t mind her around that she wasn’t about to change. Even the odd look from Victor hadn’t bothered her, yet Airi’s obvious ignorance of what the older boy’s point had been was definitely amusing, as she stifled a snicker by putting her glass to her lips again. It was a good thing that she was nowhere near having had too much to drink, as if she had been, her own heels might have proven to be an issue.
