Vianna chuckled softly at Airi’s comment, and flashed her brother a triumphant smirk as Ned, surprisingly, took her side. Though she knew if he had to choose which sibling to pick on, most often his choice was Vince. The Italian boy wasn’t amused though, and he just rolled his eyes. PSHHHH. His fault? How was trying to get ahead in life at the expense of others a fault at all? If anything, he should be rewarded for his cunningness.
“I think so. One of my best mates is a boy,” Vianna said in response to Airi’s question.
Naturally, Vince had to comment. “That’s only because that William McGit kid is the epitome of unattractive. Anyway, doesn’t change the fact that he probably has a crush on you.”
Vianna slapped her brother’s forearm, a gesture which caused him to wince and pull his arm out of the girl’s reach. “You are so rude sometimes!”
“Whatever. I agree with Ned,” said Vince, tilting his head in Ned’s direction to gesture toward the boy without exposing his arm again. “If I talk to a good-looking girl, I want to snog her, not be her friend. And if I talk to an ugly girl… well, I don’t talk to ugly girls, actually.”
Exactly how she was related to Vince Vincenzi was beyond Vianna, but she had given up on trying to find any adoption papers at her father’s office each summer. “Anyway. Did you guys hear about Cormic McAllister yesterday?” she asked, her blue eyes sparkling in a way that showed she had just gone on gossip mode.
