Merlin. The things you do for friends.
"I'm not..." She wasn't trying to be at least. But she really
did want Alice dances no matter what she said, and it did hurt a lot when her best didn't participate, even if she didn't like them herself. And it was even harder not to look hurt around her though she did a mighty fine job, and anyone who said otherwise was getting a hex to the
face.
Mostly though, her face was on Alice for her to see only. Safer that way.
Two dances though. She cheered up subtly.
