She looked up at him as he spoke then shook her head, “Kace, you didn’t do or say anything wrong…” She rubbed her arms, not cold… just trying to calm herself down, “I’m not the best at hiding my feelings, so I’m not shocked you knew or anything… but I knew you didn’t feel the same way… and I just feel like such an idiot for what I did…”

She looked down and tried to blink away a few more tears, “And it’s not that I feel bad about it… just like I said, I feel stupid… I’ve never just jumped into doing something, especially if I knew the other person wasn’t there with me…” And maybe that was a little bit of a lie, considering she’d taken her sister back home without asking her permission but that was eons away from this situation. She looked up at him and gave a weak nod to his question though, still clearly embarrassed though. Anna had always wanted that first kiss to be special… and for her it was, it just kinda sucked for her that she couldn’t say it was that magical kiss that made everything change and made her life turn around… Hey she was still young after all, that’s kind of how she always pictured it happening.
