His eyes glanced over briefly to his division four employees specifically. They were going to be the ones to specifically spearhead this investigation. His attention moved to Oliver as he spoke, a suggestion that he did not believe the Minister had considered just yet and certainly not one that had come to his mind.
He was more of a go out and do it yourself sort of fellow. And he had gone, poked around, and ended up with nothing more than soggy toilet water filled shoes and matching socks.
"Cure Breakers have not been asked to examine the entrances as of yet, but that is certainly an option that should be explored," he nodded. Under the department's supervision. "Tasha, are you writing all this down?" She ought to be if she wasn't already. As the liaison for the department he was relying on her to keep a record and deliver it to the Minister's Office afterwards. "On the contrary, those two departments are right smack dab in the middle of highly muggle populated areas." Cue a pointed look at Rusty. Yeah, get ready for that.
Flipping through the pile of papers on his desk, he found the parchment with the all the temporary locations of the other departments along with a map London with those locations labeled. Spreading it out on the table - it creaking and wobbling as he did so - he motioned for everyone to move closer so they could see. "The Minister's Office is located in an abandoned building at 152 Whittaker Street, MLE is underground along the Northern Line and has an entrance at Cranley Gardens Station. Creatures is here, at the Muttropolitan Vet Clinic," he said as he pointed to each location on the map. "Games and Sports are over here at Airplane Hangar 17, Transportation at an abandoned boatyard in Lot's Ait, Specialty at.... the Sugar Hill Asylum for the Insane." Which reminded him that he needed to make other accommodations for his son. NO WAY that was going to happen. "Environment is over here, in the basement of a Walmart. Apparently it is wizarding owned, hence the decision not to put up enchantments. International is nestled on the third floor of the Harlequin Building." Not wizarding owned and muggles everywhere. "Mysteries is on a container ship on the Thames."
Merlin he had a headache already just thinking about all the potential disasters that could happen.
"Besides patrols and checking on concealment and repelling enchantments, we will be working with Transportation on setting up apparition zones in secure locations at each site with the exception of Environmental." Lots of things to take care of here and it was only the first week. Good thing they still had good coffee, yeah?
"This is a lot of information to take in, but you all will have a full report on your desks in the workroom summarizing all this by the end of the day," he sighed as he straightened his poster from leaning over the map to standing again. "Any other questions, urgent or otherwise?" Or lingering thoughts for that matter.
Grumble.
With a long look Aron's way Tasha walked up to the table to claim the most solid looking chair. If the chair collapsed under her Tasha was going to blame it all on Aron. Yes that was the plan. Taking out her meeting planner, a feathery quill and blue ink Tasha started to scribble down what had been established so far in the meeting in fast but neat handwriting.
When Aron had assigned the most pressing tasks there was time for questions. Unconsiously sucking on the end of her feathery quill Tasha asked "Considering that the ministry is basically scattered all over London how will we keep in touch with the other departments for the day-to day work? Will we rely on the muggle mail system to provide and deliver our interdepartment memos and mail?"
