She watched happily as the woman took the Chocolate Frogs. Seemed that she trusted her, which was a good thing, because there was no way that Lux would ever tamper with food meant for an adult; she was a good girl. "Oh well... those people are just mean to have given you tampered food. Shame on them!" She wondered why they would do that, because the Headmistress seemed nice. "So nice to meet you too, dear, and thank you ever so much for the chocolates, but I must be going. I'm late for tea time!" She beamed at the sweet Hufflepuff and nodded her head. "Indeed indeed... well, karma came back and got them in the end. Ta ta now!" Quote:

"Maybe my dad sent it," The small girl suggested, a frown evident on her face. "Curtis Diggory? He's a chaser for the Montrose Magpies." If that helped any. "Both my mum and dad went to school here, too. Hufflepuffs. Actually.. a lot of my family did. My Aunt Sam told me about you, she said you taught Herbology in her last year at school. She use to be a Gryffindor, though.." And that was all the little one was going to say on that note, because the things Aunt Samantha had told her hadn't all been very nice.
Oh, thank Merlin, she remembered the letter!
The frown disappeared, only to be replaced with another bright smile. The little Diggory nodded here and there when necessary, all polite and cheerful as the Headmistress spoke. Wait.. animal sanctuary? Slowly, the Ravenclaw nodded once more. Animal sanctuary. Professor Thompson. "Thank you, Headmistress Truebridge. I'll make sure she gets lots of exercise and fresh air, and I'll talk to Professor Thompson too." Right, good, she was nodding in agreement. "Excellent m'dear, well I shall be going now." She gave her a polite smile. "Run along with your little pet now, and take good care of her!" Or him! Whatever it was!
She herself hustled along down the corridor and over to the stairs. Time for tea with Sophia!
